FAMILY LAW CONSULTATIONS & PAYMENT LINK
Initial consultations typically last about one hour and are designed to give you a clear understanding of your situation and your options.

During this time, we will gather the necessary background information, evaluate the specific facts of your case, and walk through the legal issues involved—including divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, paternity, and property division. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive straightforward, practical guidance.

By the end of the consultation, you will have a better understanding of your rights, potential strategies, and next steps. If you decide to move forward, the required advanced fee (“retainer”) will be discussed based on the complexity of your case.
Potential family law clients can pre-pay for their 1-hour consultation at the link below, and can schedule their consultation with our office by calling (225) 655-6165 or emailing assistant@attorneybr.com. We accept Visa or Mastercard credit cards if paying online.

Existing Family Law Clients can deposit funds into their trust account at the same link above. Your payment will be linked to your trust account upon receipt.

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT CONSULTATIONS
Consultations for automobile accidents are free of charge and typically last one hour. Personal injury consultations are focused on evaluating your claim, identifying responsible parties, and determining the full extent of your potential recovery.

During the consultation, we will review how the incident occurred, discuss any injuries and medical treatment, and assess available insurance coverage. The firm will also outline the types of damages that may be recoverable—including medical expenses, lost wages, and pain and suffering—and explain the process for pursuing your claim.

You will leave with a clear understanding of whether you have a viable case and what steps can be taken to move forward. Contingency fee arrangements and representation terms will be discussed, if applicable, based on the circumstances of your case.
